Overview of the offered capacity products
For its customers Open Grid Europe GmbH offers several different capacity products at the primary and secondary marketing platform PRISMA. The product data sheets offer a detailed overview of the capacity products at the different booking points in the network of Open Grid Europe. Below you find a short summary of the offered capacity products and the download opportunity of our detailed product data sheets.
Free allocable capacities allow firm and interruptible transports in the whole market area as well as an access to the Virtual Trading Pont of NCG.
Conditionally firm freely allocable capacities at storage connection points are, in principle, both firm and freely allocable within the whole market area, and have access to the Virtual Trading Point of NCG. They only become partially or in whole interruptible capacities, if the forecast of the average daily temperature for the next day at storage connection points at which bFZK are offered exceeds a particular limit, which is defined by Open Grid Europe.
Conditionally firm freely allocable capacities at Virtual Interconnection Points are, in principle, both firm and freely allocable within the whole market area, and have access to the Virtual Trading Point of NCG. If there is a physical gas flow via Gernsheim and Rimpar to the north, and if the previous day's forecast for the daily average temperature measured at the meteorological station Essen is above Zero degrees Celsius, the bFZK capacity becomes interruptible
Restricted allocable capacities enable firm transport from defined entry points up to defined exit points. The use of the virtual trading point is excluded.
DZK (dynamically allocable capacity) enables indirectly use of the VTP on an interruptible basis by linking the DZK balancing group with an invoicing balancing group in the Net Connect Germany system. In addition, network use on a firm basis of the booked capacity from an entry point to a predetermined associated exit point or from an exit point to a predetermined associated entry point is possible. Use is only possible if capacities have been booked at the aforementioned predetermined associated entry and exit network points and if the capacities have been inserted into a separate DZK balancing group.
