gat 2019 - We shape energy supply. Today and in the energy mix of the future.
Not long to go now before the 58th gat conference and exhibition kicks off in Cologne. We are looking forward to three busy and eventful days from 26 to 28 November.
This year’s gat conference and exhibition will address three major social challenges – demographic change, climate change and the climate-friendly implementation of the energy transition.
At our stand D-013 in hall 7, we will present our ideas for a sustainable energy system of the future, focussing on "Cross-sector use of hydrogen" and "Innovative technologies for the use of green and decarbonised gases". We want to discuss with you the key parameters for the success of the energy transition, present our latest projects and make hydrogen a tangible experience for you.
On 26 November at 12:45 p.m. you will have the opportunity to be inspired by the climate protection pioneers of the Julius-Stursberg secondary school and their Protect Our Planet movement. They will present their individual goals and projects on "CO2 reduction" and on "Creating social environmental awareness".
One of the highlights will be our panel discussion about "Gas infrastructure, hydrogen and green gases – Paving the way for the energy revolution" on 27 November at 12:15 pm. The panellists will be Jorgo Chatzimarkakis, Secretary General of the European Hydrogen Association Hydrogen Europe; Dr. Thomas Hüwener, Member of the Management Board of Open Grid Europe; Sybille Riepe, Communication Manager at H2 MOBILITY Germany and Dr. Geert Tjarks, Head of International Cooperation at NOW.
This year for the first time, our high-pressure gas meter test facility pigsar™ will have its own stand (D-005 in hall 7).
Together with you, we want to create momentum for the future and invite you to come and see us at our stand D-013 in hall 7.
We are looking forward to “energy-packed“ discussions!
